The new Nissan Titan continues to hold its own in the full-size pickup truck market. This impressive truck is available in the full-size half-ton model and the heavy-duty Titan XD. The Titan and Titan XD trucks come with a substantial powertrain that provides satisfying performance and capability.

The Titan lineup includes several well-equipped trims like the new SV Bronze Edition package with Bronze 20-inch wheels, a gloss black front grille surround, black front bumper, black exterior badges, full LED headlights, a sport bar, and Bronze Edition floor mats.

What’s Powering the 2024 Nissan Titan

While other truck manufacturers complicate things by offering several powertrains, Nissan keeps the Titan simple with one respectable powertrain. All models come with a substantial 5.6-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This engine has plenty of zip, getting to 60 MPH in about six seconds.

The Nissan Titan engine delivers an EPA-estimated 15 or 16 MPG in the city and 20 or 21 MPG on the highway depending on the cab and bed configuration. All Titan trucks have a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Consumers can choose the Titan with a 5-foot-6-inch bed or a 6-foot-6-inch bed. The long bed comes with the King Cab and XD models, while the short bed is paired with the Crew Cab. The Titan seats up to six when the truck is equipped with a front-row bench. The Crew Cab has a roomy rear seat compared to the King Cab.

The Nissan Titan XD can tow up to 11,050 when outfitted with a gooseneck hitch. For better traction, the Titan has Hill Start Assist and Active Brake Limited-Slip Differential. Nissan outfits the Titan PRO-4X with Hill Descent Control and an Electronic Locking Rear Differential. Trailer Sway Control as a towing safety feature.
